Meet Our Coaches

Luke became a student coach because he wanted to help people, and after a year of coaching, he can confidently say he’s been blessed to be part of so many life-changing discussions. Not only has he had the opportunity to help clients with their finances and faith, but they have also had an impact on him. It has been a dream come true to see the Lord work in their hearts as He has worked in his own. Luke can’t wait to see what God continues to do throughout this next year!

Josiah enjoys learning about the theology of generosity and would love to share what he has learned with others. Above all, he wants God to be glorified through the wise stewardship of money. Josiah sees the value the Bible provides for stewarding his resources and thus enjoys seeing others learn how to steward theirs through budgeting and radical generosity. Throughout his life, he has struggled with hoarding money but over the past year, he has found freedom by living generously with Christ.

Jackson wanted to be a student financial coach because of his personal calling to pastoral ministry. He believes that this opportunity will transform both himself and those who he has the honor of serving. This transformation is due to the magnificent glory and work of God. He wants to build a faithful cornerstone in which finances can be properly stewarded to best fit into the ministry of the kingdom of God.

Trey is an accounting student that cares very much about combining biblical principles with sound financial wisdom. He’s excited to grow in financial advising while helping others honor God through the way they manage their finances. He can’t wait to build the habits of showing generosity and patience through CENFi which will prepare him for the future.

Jesus makes clear how the desire for money and all that it brings is one of the greatest snares for the human heart, and this motivates Connor to coach starting with the heart and its true intentions. He believes that an intentionally led walk through life is the first (and possibly hardest) step in the whole process of biblical financial wisdom, and he emphasizes that in his coaching. Connor’s money struggle is found in the fear of being able to afford major life purchases, but he falls back on verses like Proverbs 3:5-6 in the valleys of doubt.

Lydia is a junior accounting major who loves to learn how to better steward the blessings she’s been given. She became a CENFi coach to gain experience in helping others with their finances while keeping Christ as the focus. She believes that everyone has been given gifts from the Lord, and she wants to know how to better steward them and help others do the same. She has always had a hard time wrapping her mind around the concept of generosity producing a cheerful and thankful heart, but she has seen throughout her life and the lives of others how generosity can bring great joy. Lydia loves being involved on campus, doing crafts with friends, and spending time with her family.

Bella believes financial stewardship is critical to the Christian life, yet it’s something many believers overlook. Any money that anyone has is a gift from God that has been entrusted to them for a time, and how they steward it should bring glory to Him. Not only does this coaching opportunity help Bella to better understand what biblical stewardship looks like, but she’s eager to see how the Lord works in the students she mentors and see how he shapes them—as well as herself—into individuals who are more grateful, more generous, and more faithful when it comes to their finances.

Sarah is a junior majoring in business marketing, with the hopes of becoming a real estate agent. She coaches with CENFi because she wants to be an outlet for students to learn more about financial literacy and its connection to the Bible. Sarah’s passion is helping others steward the provisions God has gifted them by helping them to better save and give of their resources. There have been times when she didn’t know how she would afford the next year's tuition, but by trusting the Lord’s will and taking the necessary steps, He has provided and blessed her abundantly. In her free time, she enjoys cooking (anything pasta-related), watching movies with friends, and journaling.
