About CENFi
The yield2Yield Center for Biblical Financial Wisdom (CENFi), in partnership with the Ron Blue Institute, is a new initiative at Union University. Guided by the principle that God owns it all (Psalm 24:1), our mission is to cultivate habits of biblically wise financial stewardship that lead to a flourishing life. We equip students to live intentionally, give generously, and invest wisely—building a full life that honors God. Designed by students for students, CENFi empowers individuals to achieve financial success without compromising their spiritual well-being.

Living intentionally means making deliberate financial choices that reflect your values and faith. The Bible teaches stewardship, emphasizing that everything we have belongs to God (Psalm 24:1). This perspective calls us to manage our finances wisely, avoiding unnecessary debt (Proverbs 22:7) and ensuring our spending aligns with godly priorities. By living intentionally, we can use our resources purposefully—to meet needs, bless others, and honor God—while maintaining the freedom to respond to His calling without the burden of financial strain.

Giving generously is an expression of gratitude and faith, rooted in the biblical principle that we are stewards, not owners, of what God has entrusted to us (1 Chronicles 29:14). The Bible encourages cheerful and sacrificial giving, reminding us that generosity blesses both the giver and the recipient (2 Corinthians 9:6-7). By prioritizing giving, we reflect God’s abundant grace and participate in His work to serve others, meet needs, and advance His kingdom. Generosity fosters a spirit of trust in God’s provision and shifts our focus from accumulating wealth to eternal impact.

Investing wisely reflects biblical stewardship by multiplying the resources God has entrusted to us (Matthew 25:14-30). This principle encourages us to plan for the future, grow our wealth responsibly, and seek opportunities that align with our values. Wise investing involves diligence, patience, and discernment, avoiding reckless risks (Proverbs 21:5) while prioritizing long-term goals over fleeting gains. By investing with both wisdom and purpose, we can provide for our families, create opportunities to bless others, and contribute to causes that advance God’s work, all while maintaining an eternal perspective on our resources.
